It focuses on portraits, life drawings & figure compositions. In portraits students will learn the artistic representation of a person, in which the face & its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality & even the mood of the person. Students will learn how to draw a human figure from the observation of the line model. In figure composition students learn how to compare human figures in different environments. They will learn balance, harmony, contrast, movement, perspective in the painting.
